Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand, has collaborated with the Ho Chi Minh University of Science (HCMUS) to develop the Joint Bachelor of Computer & Information Science AUT, with the aim to support the undergraduates whose specialization involved in the field of providing services for IT industry. The students will be equipped with efficient knowledge and skills to develop, operate and maintain the computer system, software, and network infrastructure in any organization and business.
By entering the program, the students obtain many opportunities to approach the Modern Education System with the updated knowledge in the field of Information Technology. After completing 3 years and a half of full time study at the HCMUS, students will achieve the Bachelor Certificate issued by AUT University. After the first 2 years, based on their studying aspiration, students can apply for the Articulation Programme to complete their two final academic years at the Partner Universities overseas.
Program Objectives
Providing basic knowledge and skills of Computer & Information Science for the students before entering the major courses of AUT University or following the Articulation Programme to continue their study overseas at the Partner Universities of HCMUS,VNUHCM.
Equipping the students with specialized knowledge in the IT Service Science field: specializing in examining, designing and operating any Information & Technology solution; strengthening students' ability to connect the functions, service and practical skills into the field of Information & Technology, enhancing students' ability to integrate any Information Security Models; building profound knowledge about the business model in IT service, security and operating system.
Equipping the students professional abilities to start their career path in any international working environment: English, communication skill, team work and self-development skills.

Eligibility for graduation
- Students must complete all the required number of credits (103).
- The student’s Grade Point Average (GPA) is at least 2.00.
- Students must meet the English requirements of AUT, New Zealand.
- Completion of tuition fees and other fees incurred while studying.
- All the resources and learning materials must be returned.
- Submission of all academic records and English language certificates as prescribed
- At the time of evaluation for graduation, students are not accused of any crime; or not in academic suspension for disciplinary reasons
TRANSFERRING:
After the students finish their 2nd year at HCMUS, if their financial ability and studying aspiration are approved, they can apply for the Articulation Programme to travel abroad and continue their study at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand or to other partner universities of the International Training and Education Center (ITEC) in America, Australia, England and Canada.
Scholarships are available for students transferring to Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand with up to 20% tuition fee scholarship for the first study year after transferring (subjective to change following the current scholarship policy).
