In order to provide a fun and joyful playground to all of the students at ITEC, we proudly organize a video contest with the theme “INTRODUCTION TO YOUR ACADEMIC MAJOR AND FUTURE CAREER”. All of the students are welcomed to participate. This is one great opportunities for students to learn, cooperate and most importantly, try to make a breathtaking video.

Every team can be a group of people or an individual. Members of each team can be students from different classes.

Every team can only sign up for 1 video clip, from 5 to 10 minutes per video.

The video is about introducing the major that every team is taking at ITEC and what they wish about their future career.

Students who wish to learn more about making video clip can join the seminar at 11H on Saturday morning 3/12/2011.

Round 1:

Content in the video has to be edited and compile into a script, with a narration. The whole script, narration must be printed and submitted to ITEC office at 11:00 am every morning. The deadline for this enrollment is before 4:00 pm in 2/12/2011.

The script must describe thoroughly ideas, contents and how every team is going to perform. The outcome of the winner will be based on the content of the video and how would it fit to the contest. ITEC shall pick out the most impressive script and provide a reasonable expenditure for these contestants. The results will be posted on ITEC official site in the fifth of December 2011.

Second round:

Every script makes it to the 2^nd round will be provided 200.000 vnd. ITEC shall provide information about HCMUS and the center, this shall help students have a broader sense on what they are going to film. ITEC also provides opportunities for students to film their videos in the office, classes or lab room. To get the most benefits out of this contest, applicants must inform ITEC about their requirements.

The video shall be written on CDR with protected seal, team info must be written on the surface of this disc. Contents in the CDR must include: a video clip, a narration and a script . the deadline for this submission is at 4:00 pm in 16/12/2011 at ITEC 11H. ITEC will not take any responsibility prior to technical faulty.

All the videos will be posted on ITEC official site so that students can decide which one is the best.
Voting Time: From 19/12/2011 to 23/12/2011.

Awards:

The award ceremony will be held at 9:00 am in 24/12/2011.

First prize: 1.000.000 vnd

2^nd prize: 800.000 vnd

3^rd prize: 600.000 vnd

Voting prize: 500.000 vnd.
